Refund Policy

Effective date: 2026-04-24

This Refund Policy describes the cases in which a refund of funds for purchases on Galaxy 71 (the "Service") is possible. The Service is operated by galaxy71.com (the "Operator", "we", "us"). By using the Service, you agree to this Policy together with our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

1. General rule — a purchased service is not reversible

Once you have purchased a Click on a Chunk or an NFT Star, the service is considered rendered: the Click enters the Hunter queue, the NFT is recorded in the registry. These operations cannot be reversed:

  • funds have already been transferred in the public blockchain ledger;
  • compute resources may already have been allocated and consumed;
  • we have no technical means to "roll back" a blockchain transaction or to "un-render" a service that has already been performed.

Refund of an unused account balance is governed by §2.4 below.

2. Exceptions — when we will consider a refund

Notwithstanding the general rule above, we will consider refund requests in the following cases:

2.1 Double charging / technical failure

If our system charged you twice for the same Chunk, or your balance was debited without the corresponding compute job being launched, we will refund the duplicated or erroneous amount in full to the original payment wallet.

2.2 Hunter failure — paid Chunks not processed

If you paid for a Chunk and our compute infrastructure has not processed it within a reasonable time (typically 30 days from the moment of payment confirmation), and the failure is on our side (rather than network congestion, blockchain reorganisation, or third-party processor issues), we will refund the unprocessed portion of the purchase.

2.3 The Service is permanently discontinued

In the unlikely event that the Service is permanently discontinued, we will refund the unused balance to your registered payment method within a reasonable time after the announcement.

2.4 Refund of unused account balance

If you wish to recover funds that have not been used to purchase Clicks or NFTs (an unused account balance), we will consider such a request. The refund is sent to the original payment wallet, less:

  • the cryptocurrency payment processor's fee on the refund;
  • the blockchain network fee (gas, on-chain fees).

These fees are withheld by third parties when the transaction is processed and are not covered by us. If the resulting refund amount, after deduction of fees, is less than or equal to zero, the refund is technically not possible.

To prevent abuse, refunds of an unused balance are available at a reasonable frequency (typically no more than once per accounting cycle). Repeated "top up → withdraw" cycles without use of compute services may be treated by us as abuse and may result in restriction of this option.

3. Withdrawal period after the service is rendered

Galaxy 71 provides two types of services: compute processing of Chunks (a Click) and the issuance of an NFT Star. The rendering of these services begins at the moment you purchase a Click or an NFT on the Service — not at the moment you top up your balance.

By purchasing a Click or NFT, you expressly confirm that:

  • the service begins immediately — the Click enters the Hunter queue, the NFT Star is recorded in the registry;
  • you agree to the immediate commencement of the service and waive any withdrawal period that might otherwise apply under the consumer-protection law applicable to you;
  • the standard exceptions listed in Section 2 (including §2.4 on unused balance) apply independently of this waiver.

4. Refund procedure

To request a refund, send an email to hello@galaxy71.com from your registered email address, providing the following information:

  • Your registered email and nickname.
  • The payment processor transaction ID (or the blockchain transaction hash).
  • The date and approximate time of the payment.
  • The reason for your refund request (which exception under Section 2 applies).
  • The wallet address to which the refund should be sent (if different from the original).

5. Time frames

  • Acknowledgement of receipt: within 3 business days of receiving your request.
  • Initial decision: within 14 days of receiving complete information.
  • Execution of the refund (if approved): within 30 days of approval, sent to your original payment wallet (or to an alternative one if specified).

Refunds are made in the same cryptocurrency as the original payment, at the current network rate at the time of refund. Network fees are withheld by the blockchain.

6. Manual review

All refund requests undergo manual review. We may request additional information to verify your identity, the transaction, or the reason for the request. Fraudulent or abusive requests may result in termination of the account under Section 13 of our Terms of Service.

7. Appeals and disputes

If your request is denied and you believe the denial is unjustified, you may:

  • Reply to our denial notice with additional information for reconsideration.
  • If the matter remains unresolved, the dispute is governed by Section 15 of our Terms of Service (English law, courts of England and Wales).

8. What we cannot refund

  • Network fees (gas, on-chain fees) — withheld by the blockchain, not by us.
  • Cryptocurrency payment processor fees on the refund — withheld by third parties, not by us.
  • Exchange-rate differences caused by movement in the cryptocurrency price between payment and refund.
  • Costs of failed transactions on your side (for example, a transaction stuck in your wallet).
  • Losses caused by your errors (incorrect wallet address, lost seed phrase, mistyped credentials).
  • Front-running losses upon discovery of the private key — we do not control the Bitcoin mempool.

9. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced on the website and, where reasonable, by email. The "Effective date" field at the top reflects the most recent revision. Refund requests are processed under the Policy in force at the time of the original transaction.
